Roomba Pro Elite Intelligent Floor Vacuum
The reviews I read said that hardwood floors, tile floors, linoleum floors....all no problem. On carpet it is just as good (berbers, piles and lower shags). I did read one review that said Roomba had some trouble with a deep shag carpet and that makes sense to me.
It comes from Sharper Image the same company that makes the Ionic Breeze air purifier. The Roomba Pro Elite comes with lots of cool accessories like two "virtual walls" that you use to keep Roomba out of a certain areas. My favorite is the remote control (looks like a T.V. remote) and you can actually turn and steer Roomba with this remote, also stop, slow down and speed up. So, now you can use Roomba as a remote control car to race around the house!
A lot of reviewers mentioned how thier animals (dogs and cats) were entertianed by the Roomba and how friends and neighbors "freaked out" when they saw it cruising through the house. Also mentioned a lot in reviews was the fact that the Roomba can go under beds which a regular vacuum could not.
